Farmgirl Provisions

Dede is the owner of Farmgirl Provisions, located in Scott Valley. While this is her first market season at MSFM, she is a seasoned gardener and provisioner.

This farmgirl grows assorted vegetables, garlic, onions, shallots and herbs using organic and natural practices.

" I have an adventurous spirit when it comes to flavors, textures and how different seasonings, condiments, additions to our basic food groups can enhance each and every meal to make it special, to make it yours. I hand blend a number of seasonings that work well with any type of meal, salad, greens, proteins whether it be vegetarian, vegan, non-vegetarian. The combinations are limitless! We also make Black Garlic made with the garlic we grow here on the ranch. A unique seasoning that is no longer raw but sweet, savory, caramelized all at the same time. It can be eaten on its own and pairs well with cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, bread, crackers, sauces, dressings, oils, vinegars."
